Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Getting used to the website can take a while. Don't worry! I've made a video that guides you through the basics.

You have two choices:
1. You can listen from your computer or internet browser here on the website. (Member's, click here to access)
2. You can listen through a podcast app on your phone (recommended)

To listen on your app, use the private link you received by email and paste it into your podcast app. See more instructions below. (If you didn't receive the email when you first became a member, contact me)

Not all podcast apps accept private podcasts (for example, Spotify doesn't unfortunately). Here is a list of compatible apps:

  • Apple Podcasts (iPhone only) 
  • Castbox (iPhone or Android)
  • Downcast (iPhone or Android)
  • Overcast (iPhone only) *Michael's favourite
  • Player FM (Android)
  • Pocket Casts (iPhone or Android)

Apple Podcasts

1. If you use Apple Podcasts, tap "Add a Podcast by URL"

2. Paste your private link from the email you received when you first signed up

3. Tap "Subscribe"

Overcast

1. If you use the Overcast app, tap "Add URL" on the "Add Podcast" page

2. Paste your private link from the email you received when you first signed up

3. Tap "Use Password"

Castbox

1. If you use the Castbox app, paste your private link (from the email you received when you first signed up) into the search bar

2. Click "Subscribe"

Joining a specific class is as simple as clicking "Book your Spot"

You will then get an email confirmation with the class details.

If there is an error or you are unable to join a class, this probably means the class is already full. However, I can probably make some space for you, so just contact me and I will increase the size of the class to allow you to join.

Follow the steps below to cancel your monthly membership with Level Up English (the photos are from the desktop version but mobile will be similar)

1. Click on the drop-down arrow next to your profile picture

2. Click on "My Account"

3. Click "Billing" from the left-hand menu

4. This page will show your billing history. Click on "Subscriptions"

5. Here, you can see your current membership, when it started and the next date for payment.

Click "Cancel" to stop your membership. You will not be charged again.
